Our 3 Pillar Mission

We strive to build a successful and honest company that operates on 3 pillars:

Real Data

Accurate new business data is elusive. Whether it’s information on the business itself or those who work there, obtaining accurate and timely data is difficult.

We meet this challenge by performing multiple steps to eliminate poor and inaccurate data thus ensuring the highest quality real data possible.

Real Results

Results for our clients are the measuring stick of real data.  Whether it’s response rates, sales or profits, these real results are the priority for us. The value of our data lies in the results achieved by clients.

Real People

Employees, clients, vendors, and associates form the circle of real people we work with daily.  We recognize and value their needs, feelings, and livelihood. We therefore share our feedback and success with this circle that includes a yearly contribution to the charity of our employees’ choice.

Crosslists Story

Some 35 years ago, Crosslists was started to serve the non-profit and religious market.  Jean Pettid and Mark Hellstern were the founders and have since retired.  Starting in the late 1990s, the firm began compiling new business data under the direction of Joy Pettid, our current President, and chief data guru.

Crosslists has grown steadily in both clients and staff and now serves clients in a variety of markets including financial services, technology, office products and premiums, to name a few.

Crosslists Team

Joy Pettid, President

Joy leads Crosslists and has done so since 2005.  She is a techie at heart and started her data life as a programmer. Having taken on every position at Crosslists, she’s now the President. Joy directs the firm’s list brokerage, data compilation and future vision.

In her spare time (which is not much), she spends time with horses, polishes their tack and is a proud mother of two daughters.  One is a doctor and the other a lawyer.

Mark Hammar, Director of Data Management

Mark has had data in his DNA since the early 90s. Working for firms such as CMG, ALC and Acxiom, he knows data and direct marketing inside-out. At Crosslists, Mark works with clients providing exceptional service and knowledgeable insight that invariably improves their direct marketing campaigns.

As a resident of Boston, you can bet he cheers for the Sox, Pats, Bruins, and Celtics with a slight New England accent. Hear for yourself and give Mark a call to learn all about business data and the latest scores.

John M. Coe, Fractional CMO

When it comes to B2B direct marketing, John is exceptional due to his countless years spent generating leads. In addition to frequent pontification with content and seminars for Crosslists, he is working on the upcoming second edition of his book – promises, promises.

Escaping NYC some years ago to see the sunshine and play golf in Scottsdale, his “many” years have now resulted in an increased handicap – he’s a much easier mark now.

Sean Rehmer, Manager Data Operations

Like all drummers, Sean works his magic in the background. His skills in data management and operations in the back office are so good that he’s allowed to stay there since joining Crosslists in 2011. Maybe someday he’ll decide to become a front man.

Sean is a little less reticent when it comes to bragging about his wife & daughter and will play a great riff when asked.

Alexis Voss, Office Manager

Alexis is the newest member of the Crosslists team and holds the long-needed responsibility of office management and accounting (this has made Joy very happy).

As a native of Kansas City, Alexis is happy to stay home watching the Chiefs win another one.

Real Data. Real Results…
